you are hungry to get better at your shooting, this is the way to do it. "
time you listen to the CD you pick up something you didn't get before."
want more than an hour!"
What Gil and Vicki have to say about the coaching hour:"When we began the coaching hour in Nov of 2001 we had no idea how successful it would become. Years ago in the mid 80’s when we were learning and competing in sporting clays there were no instructors to go to learn how to get better. We had to learn by doing and that was tough. We shot with a group of shooters in the Houston area and would share information with each other and we realized that this sharing of information was a great tool in learning how to improve our game. When we shot skeet the only way to learn was to hang around the gun club as much as possible hoping to pick up on some tid bits by listening to other shooters that were better than us. This is the concept of the Coaching Hour but instead of just listening to other shooters you are able to listen to professional teachers. The sharing of information and experiences not only from shooters but teaching professionals is an invaluable tool to cutting your learning curve short and helping you achieve your personal goal as a shooter. There are many other benefits not the least of which is that you realize that you are not the only one having the problem you are having and to be able to hear other shooters talk about their similar problems and how we helped them solve them gives you many different avenues to learn and improve more quickly. The CD of the hour is the real find. You are able to listen to them over and over and you will glean much more information each time you listen to them. As you progress through plateaus in performance, listening to them over again you will find that the same information will mean something different which makes the information timeless and even more valuable. Coming in 2007 we will be publishing each years transcripts in paperbacks and you will be able to reference the information in book form."
